Choi Ji-woo, a South Korean actress from a popular TV drama series “Winter Sonata,” has requested a Japanese weekly to post an official apology for its malicious reports about her.
Choi’s agent Sidus HQ claimed on Monday that the Japanese magazine "Bunge Shunju" had published vicious stories about the actress in its New Year edition. According to the agent, last Thursday's issue stated that Choi is suffering from serious after-effects of her plastic surgeries and that she has complex relationship with many men.
Sidus HQ has asked the magazine to correct the stories and issue an apology, and said it will file a defamation suit against the publisher unless it carries out its requests.

YES! High time that Sidus HQ commences immediate legal action against the publisher in Japan. A thorough investigation should also be conducted : where they gathered the source, who are the culprits..... and settle this misunderstanding once and for all... Sorry for our dearest princess who has to undergo this humiliation time and again! Thanks!

I think Sidus should not even give these malicious reports any face. these newsy ppl are fully aware of that these contents are 'questionable' yet they published them just to boost up sales. Once the articles are out, some of these lies get stuck in the readers' mind. But if SIDUS takes immediate legal action, in future all such third rate magazine will never dare publish something like that unless they are certain.
As our JW is the most popular female star in the SEAsian region- the other 4 are all men, there will be more of these malicious reports ( the way the Chinese translation of the Japanese article is extremely 'ugly' is the word I would use.
No Sidus must never give these ppl face - just like some of the Hollywood stars - they sue these ppl for huge some of money, and you'll find that these 'parasites' learn very very fast.
