Seeing Jiwoo`s smiling and waiving to her beloved poeple before leaving for Africa makes me feel deeply touched. I am so proud of being her faithful fan because I have made a right decision to spend my time on meaningful things in order to support the right idol in life!
I strongly believe our Jiwoo`s humanitarian wish will come true. I know for sure that her real joy is "easing human suffering", and I am really appreciated her willingness to carry out what are the best things she can do although they are not easy at all.
Only the wonderful angel will do this in the very narrow circumstances, especially in this time. Africa ...with many difficulties ahead...

Sounds promising, but it will make the boundary between politics and entertainments more blurry. I personally prefer the separation of those two areas, unless clear lines can be developed. Just like Thomas Jefferson's renowned state and church separation law, there should be one too for politics and entertainments. As if, there aren't enough celebrities voicing their political views and lobbying for their own agenda already!

Tell you the truth, the motives behind Ban's visit is to ask for donation!! ^____________^ Hehe...the DNA of UN is politics.
However, as long as the motives are for greater good to humanity, and the intention to achieve those motives are pure and proper, why need to separate "in the name of God" or through entertainment channel...well majority of the public opinion can be easily persuaded with good storylines and beautiful ladies and handsome guys, isn't that how we turn out here at the first place?

Thanks for sharing the news article...I agree that UN's fund-raising is necessary for human mankind -- those needy people suffering from poverty and diseases-killing areas. Conscientious celebrities are paying more attention on these needy people & problems, just as Mr. Ban's views, helping for funds-raising, and participate as volunteers in certain areas.

The problem is our Jiwoo has made a very special effort to sacrify her fame and even life to the needy people in one of the severe areas on earth. It is obvious to everyone that Jiwoo never lives and thinks of herself whenever she decides to do the voluntary work "in the name of God"...And the time...she gave us her lovely smile before she left on the 2nd of this month...To me, it is the very precious and memorable moment!
