Well, I guess if I can understand close to 80% of what she said, CJW's pronunciation is fine, quite clear!! Anyway, I am focussing more on her facial expressions than her speech. Overall, her acting skills have imrpoved a lot since Air City and Rondo.

The only defects in this drama is her meeting with Osama Bin Laden!! Haha...sorry, even Osama is one of her fan, then what about Kim Jung Il. Hehe...

Well, even Osama and Kim Jung IL can be fans of a quality actress. =)~

It is a bit far-fetch!! ^________^ If you could recall, Mari was signing some sort of autograph for Osama. Hahaha...not peace talk!! I nearly fell off my chair when I saw it!! Sorry...I take it as a joke!!

This is a Drama. She is an Actress. She acts out a part in a script. Thats what she does, and she does it well. Accept her for who she is not what you think she is.

CJW is not to be blamed. It is the defects in the script!! ^________^ i am lowering my expectations, and happily accepting what she can deliver!! So far, so good. Am very satify with her performance!! No complaint!!

Am supporting her!! I find the script is actually quite good, except that little hiccup of Osama. The script has managed to write it very tight, and I just hope this tempo and dynamic will continue. I prefer this drama to be shorter i.e. 15 episodes, rather than usual 20 episodes. The shorter the better, keep it tight!!

If you don't like Osama scene, remember, in a movie or drama anything is possible. That's why people like joking and poking fun at a movie or drama. Like "how ridiculous” You remember, drama is not true story. I'm very busy, I have to go.

I do understand...every star has his/her supporters and "haters"....it is normal because all are human beings....love and hate is so natural ....!!!
But, it should not be harmful while you are expressing your feelings....
Some are really "picky" people and like to pick up others' mistakes...
If picking up on the accent of a star...some are good at pronunciations but some are not. I find many korean stars have accent in speaking english....of course there is room for improvement...but it is a korean-based drama or film, it is acceptable to have koreans speaking english with accent...it is their foreign language...and not mother tongue...Japanese stars are having stronger accent in speaking english too....but their movie/dramas are Japanese-speaking, so for me, no complaint on both korean and japanese movies/dramas !!
And Osama -- I find it an amusing scene only... so no expectation !!!
The script writer of "Star Lovers" is good at writing love dramas so far...I have confidence in her....Jiwoo ssi has been acting very well in this drama and I am very satisfied....I was touched by some of her acting scenes as well....of course she has improved, but I still like her acting in "Beautiful Days", "Winter Sonata", "Stairway to Heaven" Dramas....very touching with her true feelings in acting....!!!!Fighting while you are now working hard for the coming episodes of "Star Lovers"....We are your supporters !!!

Echoing what Lyn said, every star has his/her supporters and non-supporters but it doesn't mean that Ji Woo is not loved by MANY people because she is loved by a LOT of Koreans and Non-Koreans. I have tremendously enjoyed Star's Lover, it is beyond my expectations. As far as pronunciation, heck..don't we all mispronounce words sometimes, even our native language? Let's not pass judgment. Ji Woo is not only a talented actress but also a kind and generous person. Shouldn't her intrinsic values matter?

Aaron, welcome. Yes, intrinsic values do matter and mispronunciation is a small deal. The thing that somehow bother me in Star's Lover is CJW kept wearing fur coats. Am an animal lover!! Could not bear to see CJW kept wearing carcasses on her body!! Hehe...am protesting, and it is a loud one !!

I didn't even notice any mispronunciations. I was concentrating on the story & acting. I made mispronounciations myself even in my own language, much more when I speak other languages. You're a great actress Ji Woo & a very hardworking one. Ji Woo fighting......About fur coats, it's probably not real. It's part of the show. Remember in SL she's a top star. For you info, Ji Woo is people & animal lover. If I'm not mistaken she has or had a dog.

Hi, mindi, am not focusing on her flaws. The fur coats are part of the show, and it is not within her control. Please don't judge me like the Turkish Astronomer in the Little Prince.

I didn't think the fur coat was a real one....the "hairs" were short and not shiny...So far I know Jiwoo ssi is an animal-lovers....see her looks with the dogs and the animals in Nara sceneries in this "Star Lover"....she looked very enjoyable and lovely when with the animals...
And even in very cold weather, she did not appear with a fur coat so far.
This time...I am sure it maybe a sponsor's coat, or else...to make her like a "star"; however it didn't look like a real mink !!!
It is good to pick up flaws, so to make improvements...and on a positive attitude.
