Bae, YongJun and Choi, JiWoo's <Winter Love Song> will broadcast through
Japan's NHK station, a first for Korean drama.
Next year in early April, NHK will broadcast the show 59 minutes per episode,
20 total episodes, through their satelite channel. Then, starting next fall, NHK
will repeat the show through their ground broadcast.
Conditions NHK wanted met, for the sale of the show, was for the director
Yun, SukHo himself to edit the show to fit 59 minutes per episode, and to
change all the Korean background music except for the main theme song.
When asked how much per episode it's being sold for, KBS Meida Team's
supervisor answered, "I can't reveal the exact amount, but...
<Winter Love Song> is the most expensive export yet, and is the most for
any Korean drama exported to Japan."
On 6th, KBS and NHK will attend the International TV Program Market to be
held in Seoul, CoEx, and plans to sign a partnership contract there.
